Sick as a Dog?

I've been sick since Friday and tonight it's reached a feverish peak. Sedona and Luna heard me groaning and with concern they both came into the room to see what was wrong. Sedona hopped up beside me and snuggled up to me while Luna licked my cheek (her way of saying "R U OK?") Dogs are sensitive and emotional creatures. I've always appreciated that aspect of them. If you have a dog you will know what I mean.
